Introduction
हेलो दोस्तों आज हम इस post में posts और pages के बारेमे जानेगे और website में content को manage करने के लिए posts और page का इस्तेमाल होता है!.
post और pages दोनों content type है!.
समजते है wordpress के pages और posts के बारेमे!
WordPress को पहली बार ब्लॉगिंग के लिए ही बनाया गया था!. जिसमे post create करके किसी specific topic के बारेमे content को लिखके public कर सकते है!. अब हमें यह question होगा की ये post क्या होता है तो post एक specific topic के बारेमे लिखा content (article) होता है! जिसमे topic के related title, discription, feature images, posts category ये सभी शामिल होता है इसे हम एक completely post कह सकते है!. post articles में हम किसी specific topics जैसे की techonology के बारेमे, study related, company news और किसी product के बारेमे में content लिखके इस completed post create करके publish कर सकते है!.
post content समय के चलते changes होता रहता है!.
pages का इस्तेमाल content को public करने के लिए hota है! लेकिन pages का content समय के चलते changes नहीं होता pages का content static होता है!. pages content जैसे की about-us, contact pages, privacy policy वह pages header के navigation menu में set होते है!. जैसे की user आसानी से देख सके!.
WordPress में ये posts क्या होता है?
wordpress में posts blog content का lists होता है! और वह descending order मतलब जो new posts insert करेंगे वह first में show होंगी!.
हम wordpress posts को add और edit बी कर सकते है dashboard “posts” menu मेसे!.
posts को हम categories और tags के based पर एक group में रख सकते है मानलीजिए php, HTML name की हमारी पास दो categories है! तो हम posts को इन categories में assign कर रख सकते है!.
wordpress posts को हम published करते है तो publiced posts के साथ time and date available होते ही है!. wordpress posts सामान्य तोर पर author name, publised / updated date के साथ available होते है!.
posts RSS feeds के मदद से हमारे readers को recent updated posts की notification send कर सकते है!. posts में post के related conversation के लिए in built comment featured available होता है!. जिसे user perticuler topic के related query comment feature के जरिये user अपनी query push कर सकते है!.
WordPress में ये pages क्या होता है?
pages एक प्रकार के static content type है जैसे की about-us page, contact page, privacy policy page इन सभी pages में content होता है वह static होता है समय के चलते चेंज नहीं होता!.
wordpress dashboard में “pages” menu से pages को add और edit कर सकते है!.
सामान्य तोर पर pages में comments feature को include नहीं किया जाता हम नहीं चाहेंगे की हमारे contact page और privacy policy pages पे कोय user comment करे!. pages में comment का feature available होता है! लेकिन वह by defualt desabled होता है!.
pages को hierarchical में set कर सकते है मतलब की हम parent pages के under में उसका subpages और child-pages को set कर सकते है!.
हम page को edit करते समय page attribute से एक parent page choose करके एक page को आसानी से subpage में बदल सकते है!.
pages के लिए हम हमारा custom tamplate create करके pages में assign कर सकते है!. wordpress में अपनी theme के जरिये हम custom template बनाने की अनुमति देता है!.
सामान्य तोर पर theme में posts और page एक जैसे ही देखते है लेकिन जब हम अपने page का इस्तेमाल home page मतलब की landing page या gallery, portfolio page बनाने के लिए यह custom page template feature का इस्तेमाल कर सकते है!.
WordPress pages vs posts के main key differents
1. posts content समय के अनुसार change होते रहते है!. लेकिन pages का content static होता है समय के अनुसार change नहीं होता!.
2. post में social sharing के जरिये posts को share कर सकते है!. लेकिन pages को नहीं!
3. posts को हम categories और tag का इस्तेमाल करके organized कर सकते है जब की pages को हम hierarchical and parent and child pages में organized कर सकते है!.
4. posts की recent update notification के जरिये अपने readers को notification send करने के लिए RSS include कर सकते है!. जब की pages में नहीं!
5. जब posts को publised करते है तब posts के साथ author name और published/updated date होते है जब की pages में नहीं होते!.
WordPress में posts और pages में difference के आलावा posts और pages में similarities है!.
1. posts और pages दोनों का इस्तेमाल हम content को published करने के लिए करते है!.
2. pages और posts में text, images add कर सकते है pages और posts में featured images meta-field दोनों ही available होते है!.
